Job Description About KUDC Kuwait United Dairy Company (KUDC) is a leading dairy producer in Kuwait with over 3,000 cows across three farm sections, covering a total area of 223,000 m². We pride ourselves on excellence in dairy production, animal welfare, and sustainability. Position Overview We are seeking a highly motivated **Calf Unit Supervisor** to manage and oversee all aspects of calf care and rearing. This role is essential to ensure the healthy development of calves from birth through weaning. The supervisor will be responsible for implementing best practices in animal health, hygiene, feeding, and staff supervision. Key Responsibilities and Deliverables – Oversee the daily care, feeding, and welfare of calves to ensure optimal growth and health. – Supervise staff assigned to the calf unit, ensuring adherence to work plans and standards. – Work closely with veterinarians to implement vaccination, disease prevention, and treatment protocols. – Maintain strict hygiene, cleaning schedules, and biosecurity measures within calf housing areas. – Monitor calf health indicators, identifying and addressing issues promptly. – Maintain accurate records of feeding, health treatments, growth rates, and calf mortality. – Train and mentor calf unit staff in proper calf handling, feeding, and sanitation practices.
